Intro to STUDIO LIGHTING is a workshop designed to aid in developing your skills in lighting and understanding what light best suits your needs at the time. The stronger your understanding of lighting is, the more freedom and creativity you can apply to your images. Modifiers, the position and type of the light, exposure, all play a part in what the images are telling. I’ve spent 11 years understanding lighting and photography and this workshop is my way to share what I have learned. This workshop is aimed at photographers that have a working knowledge of their equipment but want to understand studio lighting more in depth. We will touch on equipment, general techniques, and how to achieve certain looks while being on a budget. I promise you will enjoy this workshop; so come ready to learn, ask questions, and have fun.
